Time Stock Farm
2008 Summer Horse Camp

One of the all-time great summer experiences for kids is horseback riding. It's one of those things they dream about and in later life look back on fondly. Imagine peaceful summer mornings spent not only riding horses, but learning about them too. All this while enjoying nature's beautiful surroundings in a small-group horse camp.

This summer we are pleased to present our new instructor, Jill Pass. This will be a great opportunity for young riders to develop new skills which Jill will offer.

Jill has been a lifelong horse lover and owner of horses for over 40 years. She has been a 4H project leader, horse trainer, and riding instructor. Being involved with the North Aamerican Trail Ride Conference for 40 years, Jill has achieved Overall High Point Horse two consecutive years and earned a National Champion Award.

Jill has also completed the Western States 100 Mile Ride, finishing in 11th place. She has served as ride manager, judge, vet secretary, P&R person, and has created and taught her own "Preparation for Horse Ownership" program.

We think you will agree that Jill is a great addition to our program and has much to offer our young riders.

Judy Gerhard, owner/operator, has had some health issues in the past year. She will be on hand again this year, of course, to offer her help as well.

Time Stock Farm invites you to attend our 2008 Annual Summer Horse Camp.

We are presenting a total of four multi-day programs this summer. All are carefully designed to meet the needs of young riders at every level of skill and experience.

We offer camps that teach not only riding but feeding, maintenance and grooming as well. We provide individual and group activities, such as jumping and polo, to develop and enhance riding skills.

Our lesson horses are thoroughly experienced, well-mannered, and suitable for riders of all levels.

Class size is limited: Make your reservations early!
For more information and reservations, contact Judy Gerhard at (530) 878-1844.

Come prepared to work outdoors with a horse -- learn how to ride and care for them. A break time is provided each day for drinks and snacks. Camp concludes with a show and potluck BBQ for family and friends.

For your comfort and safety long pants, sturdy shoes or boots, and hard hats are required. We have riding helmets to loan.
